The Thule Urban Glide 2 in 1 stroller and car seat Combo and the BOB Alterrain Pro combo are incredibly easy to maneuver and even the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo can be moved easily with a single hand.

Some models are difficult to attach or remove from the base, however. The Doona Combo requires a two step attachment process, and straps that cover the bottom of the infant carrier. It's tempting to skip these steps however it could result in dangerous outcomes.

Some models are more difficult to fold and store than others, which makes them less practical. Graco FastAction 3 in 1 Car Seat Stroller is difficult to fold because of its huge dimensions and bulky frames. It also has a small canopy that some test users are disappointed with. However it is the Britax Parkway Click and Go Combo is easy to fold using the pull of a lever and a snap of the button. This model is an excellent choice for parents who want to use their car seat in the other vehicles, since it is able to be removed from the base.

Easy to Fold

It should be easy to fold and unfold the car seat, no matter if you are storing it in your trunk or a closet. The best combinations we've tested fold easily in one hand and are durable enough to withstand long walks. They're also easy to maneuver, gliding effortlessly over bumps and uneven surfaces. Some combos are linked and disengaged by straps. This can be a bit like a second step, and can make it harder for parents to secure their child's car seat properly.

The BOB Revolution Flex Combo is a great choice for its sturdy construction and convenient features, including a large storage bin that is accessible from the back or front. Its exclusive SafeCenter LATCH makes it simple to achieve a secure car seat installation simply by connecting the lower anchors by pulling the straps tightly and then putting the carrier in the base.

It's also fairly light which makes it a great option for families or frequent travellers with multiple vehicles. The Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the Thule Urban Glide 2 have also scored well in our ease-of-use tests. Both come with a single front wheel that's simple to push (one-handed! ), as well as a versatile swivel front wheel that's ideal for shopping pram and pushchair 2 in 1 running around. The only drawback is that they're very heavy, so it can be tricky to lift them up when carrying a child in the car seat.

Easy to Assemble

Some car seat and stroller combos can be difficult to assemble. We found that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the easiest to put together. It even comes with a quick-start guide that makes putting this travel system together easy. Other models we tested like the UPPAbaby Minu, UPPAbaby Vista v2, Thule Urban Glide pushchair 2 in 1 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also easy to assemble. However, the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo is difficult to put together as it requires two steps: connecting the lower anchors and using straps that go over the bottom of the carrier. It's heavy, so it takes two people to click the carrier in the base, and then remove it.

In our tests, it took us about 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 together, which is a bit quick when you consider the amount of time it can save by not having to remove the pieces. Most of these models have a simple process for attaching and detaching the toddler seat, as well.
