Best Rated Roomba Vacuums

This Roomba is considered to be one of the best Robot Vacuum vacuums on the market. It has the strongest AI obstacle-avoidance system of any vacuum we've tested. It also features mopping features with dual rubber brushes that are less likely to tangle than bristle brushes.

It employs random (or bump) navigation rather than vSLAM, which can take longer to clean but ensures that each room is covered. It also has an impressive battery life and can be used on both carpet and hardwood flooring.

1. Roomba i3+ EV

The i3+ EVO is finished with a fashionable matte grey finish that looks like a fabric. This minimizes fingerprints. The smart mapping technology utilizes advanced sensors to create a map of your home that allows it to clean up each space and avoid obstacles. You can also alter your cleaning preferences in the iRobot app, which offers recommendations based on your home and seasons (like running it more often during the season of allergy). The high-efficiency filter of the robot can trap 99 percent allergens, such as dust mites, mold, dog and cat hair and pollen. It also has cliffand edge-sweeping sensors, four brushes (including a side brush, two multi-surface long brushes and two multi-surface long brushes) and a tracker for the floor to ensure it stays in its route.

In our tests, the i3+ EVO was able to clean our floors quickly and efficiently. It was able to easily switch from carpet to rugs and back again, and it didn't have much trouble navigating over the metal or wooden trim that separates different flooring types. However, it did bump into a few items like shoes, bags, and handbags as well as pet toys, but was able to maneuver around them. It missed a few spots of dirt on the carpet, however it did take hair from pet hair elsewhere.

While it is a good option for homes with carpets but the i3+ EVO isn't as effective as the other models in terms of cleaning up crumbs and other debris. It struggles to vacuum pet hair off carpets and could not be the best choice for those who want their robot to completely replace their conventional vacuum cleaner. Also, it lacks the superior obstacle-avoiding capabilities of the top Roombas, such as the j7+ and s9+, which makes it more likely to run into pet waste and spread it all over floors.

2. Roomba J7+

This is one of the best robot vacuums for those who have the combination of hard flooring and carpet. Its most prominent feature is its obstacle detection, which cleverly removes furniture legs, cords, and even pet debris. It is also very good in cleaning hard floors and removing long hairs stuck in the brush.

Like other robots unlike other robots, the Roomba j7+ can adjust its suction power. You can do this through the app, which includes map editing and scheduling which works well, as does the section of your favorites for your most frequently used cleaning tasks. The j7+ is very quiet, particularly when it comes to higher-end flooring options. It is able to keep up with manual vacuuming.

In our tests, the j7+ managed to pick up more debris on both hard and carpeted surfaces than the 694. It also did better in crevices. 3. Roomba i7+

The i7+ is a fascinating machine to observe. It follows a pattern that is similar to the way a lawn-care professional trims a sports field before an event. Occasionally, it will return to its dock to empty out its dust bin or recharge its batteries. This feature, which allows the vacuum to empty itself, is a welcome addition and reduces the necessity for manual maintenance.

It also has a good deal of suction power, grabbing up pet hair and dirt effortlessly. Even on carpets with a high pile it can take care of the majority of debris with just one swipe. It's also able to find areas with high traffic and spend longer in those areas. This is especially useful for families with children or pets that frequently bring large amounts of debris from the outside.

Another great feature is Smart Mapping, which allows the i7+ to study the arrangement of your home and then create an adjustable floor map while it vacuums. After four one-hour sessions, the i7+ was able navigate my two-bedroom apartment logically and efficiently. You can further tweak the mapping using the app by creating virtual boundaries and assigning rooms names. This means you can program the i7+ to clean around the cat's litter tray every morning or avoid the sofa in the living room after everyone has gone to sleep.

The i7+ comes with a sidebrush as well as a tangle-free spinning squeegee that are great to pick up any debris that could otherwise fall to the ground. It also comes with an battery that is equipped with Recharge and Resume Technology that allows it to pick up the place it left off in the previous cleaning session.

4. Roomba 694

The 694 is a great entry-level robot that is ideal for anyone looking to make their home more tidy but without the advanced automation features that the higher-end models have. It also tends to overflow the dirt compartment when it fills up. It's not as effective on low pile carpets, but it still scores better than other robot vacuums at this price point.

It's very effective in getting rid of hair from pets. However, some strands could get caught in the side brush. Its poor performance on kitty-litter is also a cause of worry, even though it scored the same as most other robots within this class. It topped our top pick (the Roborock S4 Max), by 19 points. The 694 is more expensive than the eufy RoboVac 30, but it feels more robust and requires less maintenance and has lower costs for recurring expenses, is more quickly, can maneuver over obstructions with ease and performs better on floors that are unfinished and high-pile carpet. It also has a larger dustbin, and it can be used with or without an internet connection.

5. Eufy 11s

The eufy11s model is among the most affordable robot vacuums available. It's a good choice if you want a reliable and simple machine. This model can remove pet hair, dust and other debris on both hard and low-pile floors. It also has a decent job of maneuvering around obstacles and furniture. Its slim profile makes it easy to get under low-clearance furniture like couches, tables, and other objects. It is also one of the quietest robot vacuums we have tried.

This is the most basic model we've seen. It isn't equipped with features found in more expensive models. For example, it doesn't work via an app, which means you'll need to physically create the schedule using the remote control. It also doesn't offer a battery-level or dust bin alert, so you'll need to monitor its condition and empty it when needed.

This model is well built and is easy to maintain despite its cost. It also has a long battery life and offers decent performance on bare floors and when maneuvering around obstacles. In our tests, it was able to climb over low-lying obstacles like electrical cords with greater ease than the Roomba 694 or Shark Ion robots, but it was unable to climb over high-pile carpets.

While the eufy 11s may be superior to the ONSON GOOVI, we suggest you go with an option that is more expensive when you can afford it. The iRobot Roomba 694 is easier to maintain, incurs lower charges for recurring maintenance, and provides longer battery life. It is also better at cleaning irobot roomba bare floors as well as moving around furniture. It also has a bigger dust bin.
